Terms and Conditions
The rules for using this website and a summary of the key terms of hiring a vehicle from PCO Car Rental London Ltd. Effective from 1 January 2026.
Welcome to PCO Car Rental London Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). These terms and conditions set out the rules for using our website and the basis on which we describe our services. By accessing this website you agree to be bound by them. If you go on to hire a vehicle from us, the written hire agreement you sign at collection takes priority over anything on this page.
1. Using this website
- General information: the content on this website describes our PCO vehicle hire service for licensed private hire drivers in London. It is provided for general information only and does not form part of any contract.
- Accuracy: we take reasonable care to keep prices, availability and vehicle details up to date, but they may occasionally change before the website is updated. Always confirm the current position with us by WhatsApp, phone or email before relying on it.
- Your responsibilities: when using this website you agree not to copy, alter or misuse its content; attempt unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it; do anything that disrupts how the site works; or send us content that is misleading, defamatory, harmful or unlawful.
- Intellectual property: the PCO Car Rental London name, logo, photographs and text on this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be reused without our written permission.
2. Pricing and availability
- Guide prices: weekly rates shown on this website are a guide and may change without notice. The rate that applies to you is the one confirmed in your hire agreement.
- Availability: vehicles are offered subject to availability. An enquiry, callback request or WhatsApp message is not a booking until we have confirmed it and your documents have been approved.
- Errors: if a price or detail is displayed incorrectly because of a technical or typing error, we may correct it and are not obliged to supply a vehicle at the incorrect price.
3. Summary of hire terms
This is a summary of the main terms of our hire. The full terms are in the hire agreement you sign at collection, which you should read carefully.
- Eligibility: you must be 25 or over, hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years and hold a valid TfL private hire driver (PCO) licence. We will ask for proof of identity, proof of address and, where relevant, proof of your right to work in the UK.
- Plans and payment: the minimum term is 3 months. Weekly payments are made in advance. Our current guide rates are £150 a week on a 3 month plan, £140 on a 6 month plan and £130 on a 12 month plan.
- Deposit: a £300 deposit is paid once, when you collect the vehicle. It is refunded at the end of the hire once the vehicle has been returned and inspected, less any unpaid amounts, fines, penalty charges or damage beyond fair wear and tear.
- What we provide: servicing, MOT, replacement of worn tyres, road tax and the TfL private hire vehicle licence renewal, with unlimited mileage.
- Insurance: insurance is not included. You must hold your own valid private hire (hire and reward) insurance for the vehicle from the day you collect it until the day you return it, and provide us with a copy before collection. Driving without valid insurance is a breach of the hire agreement and of the law.
- Your costs: you are responsible for fuel, charging, the congestion charge and any other road charges, parking and penalty charge notices, speeding and other fines, and damage beyond fair wear and tear. Where we receive a notice as registered keeper we will transfer liability to you or recharge the amount, plus any administration fee set out in the hire agreement.
- Care of the vehicle: you must keep the vehicle clean and in good condition, report any fault, warning light or damage to us straight away, attend servicing and MOT appointments when arranged, and not allow anyone else to drive it.
- Ending the hire: after the minimum term you may return the vehicle by giving the notice period set out in your hire agreement. We may end the hire immediately if payments are missed, the vehicle is used unlawfully or without insurance, or the hire agreement is otherwise broken.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on its content.
